Do you ever wish you hadn't started something? Well this morning I decided to tidy up the wiring behind the battery (on the right hand side of the engine bay). I swear all I did was remove the battery, undo the earth bolt next to the engine stay at the front re-route a few wires wrap a bit of electrical tape around them and put back the earth wires.... and now I have a problem..
On side lights and dipped beam, everything is OK. However when I switch to main beam the dipped lights go out and the inner lamp (closest to the rediator) doesn't come on at all.
I guess this is not a lot to go on, but does anybody have anything to suggest? Please mention anything obvious, as electrics is not my strong point!
Cheers

Not my strong point either, sadly.
I repaired my electric antenna recently, but that was with a lot of luck.
Maybe someone else can help you. |

Thanks Harry. can you provide me with a bit of guidance as to what each headlight is suppose to do? This is what I think:
Outer pair - dipped headlights
middle pair - sidelights and main beam
inner pair - used for flashing
Is this correct? It would be good to know what the correct operation is before I go trying to 'fix' things....
Thanks
