hallo
mvg

hi stef,
there must be No problem to import the sz to belgium.
I already imported my rz from italy and last year the sz from switserland.
No problems whatsoever.
Your local alfa garage will have to go to the alfa main office in brussels to change the aluminium plate under the hood and to register the car.
With my sz i went myself and it took about ten minutes and about 100 euro's. |

do you think an SZ which used to have a catalytic convertor is still road legal if the cat is removed? I'm not sure if this is possible in Belgium.
According to the pvg number of a 1991 SZ the car should have a catalytic convertor in Belgium. But who know if they ever notice if it's removed or not... |

Hello.
I do not know if they really test the car when you import it. They can maybe see the 'cat' is missing because the emissions have gone up.
But 'RZ' will know what they check when you import it into Belgium. |

I received much useful information recently of different SZ/RZ owners. Thank you everyone.
I hope to post positive news this summer about a sz purchase.

The car is home! It feels kinda strange to be the owner of the car you dreamt of for so long... |

This is a picture during transport of the SZ from the UK to the Europe.
On board of the ship the car was wearing his cover, just to give some little protection while we were not around.
Thank you for all the congrats.
I won't go with the SZ to Zandvoort, but I hope to meet some SZ owners over there.
regards

to get the car in Zandvoort I should put the sz on a trailer (it's not on the road yet)
I just received my papers from the douane. So I'm still not ready with the paper work.
Congratulations with you black sz. I hope everything is ok over there.
Regards
Stef. |
