In anticipation I had a quick look at p55 of the current issue at a well known UK news agent
Looks like both the cars belong to James Wheeler at Black & White Garage in the UK. I havent seen his SZ, but i have had a good look at his Montreal and it is wonderful. Should be an interesting article. |

Me too
This is James' SZ (on the right) parked next to mine. He previously owned this one, sold it and then bought it back last year.

Whilst it was a great idea comparing these 2 'oddballs' the actual article is very poor and provides just an overview of both cars with nothing in-depth.
However there is a 'pricewatch' piece on page 167 talking up the values and even more interestingly the car that sold at auction recently for around £20k is advertised at a French dealer although with no price (.http://www.collection-cars-sales.com/sale-file.php?id=799) |

There's an SZ article in this month's Auto Italia too.

There's is also a (very) small piece on SZ prices in this months Evo magazine - refering to that same car that sold at auction for 20k as a bargain when estimates were 30-40k! |

When you look at the quality of cars that GTC offer, they obviously hold the SZ with some regard. It's great to see the SZ amongst such great cars where it belongs. |

Finally received my copy and read the article over the weekend. Like Philip said there's nothing new there. Some nice photography and the price watch article is a bonus.
I remember a trip in a Montreal across the alps about 10 years ago. 2 friends of mine in the front and myself sprawled across the rear seats. After 1 hour in the back with the cabin filled with a strong smell of petrol and burning oil I definitely have mixed feelings about those cars |

Nice article but not very special.
But a good idea to have those two great Alfa Romeo's together in one test.
I am not sure if they sell the Auto Italia magazine overhere. Is it a good article? |

The usual SZ article really...but see for yourself, if anyone can't get hold of a copy after seeing the taster pictures below let me know and I'll contact the publisher for you.
(Very large pictures - suggest you save them and then view at the size you like)

Hello everybody,
does somebody know which buildnumber this car is (registration number SZ 100) ?
This car was used in a number of British publications in 1990 / 1991 and somewhere I read it was the first roadregistered car in the UK.
greetings,
Robin |

No idea, sorry, I can tell you that the registration "SZ100" is no longer showing on the national UK database.
