Does anyone have any idea how to remove them easily?
Also are they a standard fiat part? I would love to get some clear or smoked ones to match the front indicator lenses.
Thanks

Hello Philip,
What are side repeaters?
Are those the orange indicators near the Zagato logo?
I thought they where still available for a few Euro's. _________________ SZ: #150 |

Yes the orange indicators above the Zagato logo. Nothing wrong with mine, I just fancy replacing them with smoked or clear versions... |

Same with mine, in fact one side is trying to jump free on it's own!

Yep same here, I have to be to extra carefull while washing the car by hand or otherwise I push em out of the fender...
About your question, as far as I know the indicators are SZ/RZ specific?
Regards,fRank
Edit: how about the lights of the fiat panda first series?

Well mine are stuck in and wont come out. However I have discovered that the orange lense does unscrew leaving the body stuck in the wing and revealing the bulb.
Think I'll start searching on eBay and see what I can find |

Bit more research, aided by eBay and an old Fiat parked on the side of the road near my house and I think I might have the answer:
Yes looks like the Cinquecento might be the donor..... |

Cinquecento? Well I think there is a lot of 'aftermarket stuff' for this car.
So, clear or black lenses may be easy to find?

Well they say little things please little minds, but right now i'm very pleased!
I found a seller on eBay selling these smoked Cinquecento repeaters. I was supplied with the complete unit, but all i did was unscrew the old orange cap, pull out the old bulb, replace with a new orange tinted bulb and then screw on the new smoked cap.
However i'm sure the Cinq was introduced after the SZ came to life, so the original source is probably an older fiat - Uno perhaps?
Cheers!

Eper only lists the fittings as being for ES30s...but you've found a good solution

I'm not sure about the body as I can't get my repeaters out of the bodypanel. However the reflector is identical except the colour:
These reflectors simply screw on/off (not by a screw thread but by 3 'slots') and are identical in design.
Next time you see a Cinquecento take a look - i was lucky there is one regularly parked near my house but I've never thought to look so closely at it's repeaters before
I'll take a picture of the actual body tonight and someone else might be able to comment if they are the same.
Cheers |
