A friend spotted SZ 696 at a car show at Mercedes Benz World over the weekend. Doesn't some one on here own 696?

Very quiet on here. I think I know why.

Hello Simon,

Yes that was my car.

It was a great event - loads of machinery to droll over:

F40
458
246 Dino
Aventador
MP4-12C
2 x Ford GT's
Countless 911's (GT2's, GT3's plus others)
Dozens of AMG cars with about 5 or 6 circling the demo track

I didn't take any photo's but if you look at this thread on pistonheads several people have posted photo's and links to flickr albums:

My friend was driving a metallic red 599.
