Got myself a new mirror switch from eBay. Does anyone know if the one in the car simply pulls out? I don't want to damage the leather on the door.

Yes, it just pulls out but be careful, sometimes the clips have been bent in the past and may catch.

Check for Alfa 164 mirror switch. I found a couple for sale in the US.

This is the only one I can find for sale at the moment, a job lot of switches with a mirror switch mixed in. Can't vouch for the vendor.

Also here, there is a mixed lot of 164 parts with what looks like the correct switch. Obviously it's a bit of a lottery as to whether the switches work or not.
