Rear brake discs for an SZ/RZ are very hard to find new and are specific to the ES30.

Several manufacturers have made them over the years but supplies of plain discs are depleted often leaving owners with the only option of buying very expensive "sports" discs. If you want ready made "off the shelf" discs then click here to see the various options and part numbers.

I don't want any £300-400 discs (sports discs can be very noisy) on the back of my SZ, I only need plain old standard vented discs.

Contacting a couple of brake disc manufacturers to organise a batch to assist other owners showed some promise; one replied to say they were already thinking about making ES30 discs, for £200 each! The other suggested I could send them one of mine to copy, which sounded more hopeful but I was worried about the cost again.

So, I came up with an idea; hopefully it will work out at around £40-50 for a pair of replacement discs, after an initial outlay...if it works!
