04/04/14 - The first trip of 2014 with a new tax disc! A quick trip to Bakewell for a nice Italian meal and grainy picture by the river.

 
10&11/05/14 - National Alfa Weekend, organised by the UK Alfa Romeo Owners Club. In order to celebrate the AROC's 50th anniversary, the usual annual one day event was stretched to a full weekend to include a field event on Saturday at Boughton House and track day at Bruntingthorpe on Sunday. Aside from the previous brief excursion on track at Mallory Park, this was my first time on a trackday where I could really stretch the SZ and my driving skills!

Picture 1 was taken at Boughton House, picture 2 taken during the parade lap of Bruntingthorpe by Brian Austin, picture 3 by Phil Gotts during the "hot" laps, as I was manoeuvring to overtake a Giulietta whilst being chased by a rapid 75.

15/06/14 - Yorkshire Alfa Day at Elvington Air Museum.
 
29/06/14 - Summertime Classics at Stanford Hall. A regular event, once known simply as Auto Italia Day but now open to other marques. a total of six SZs attended.

17/08/14 - MITCAR held at Rockingham Castle, my car parked with some of the other "exotics".
 
05/09/14 - My SZ turned 16,000 miles! I have covered 8,200 miles since owning the car....happy birthday to H811 YYN!
 
16/10/14 - Classic Car magazine asked to borow my SZ for one of their features. The day was enjoyable but not without incident...but I won't go into that here! Venue was the famous Cat and Fiddle in Derbyshire. The speed cameras in the background also featured in the day...!
