Das ol das orginal ist immer gut 10w40 besser ein Ol Wegsel mehr machen. das 10w60 ist zu dünn da geht der verbrauch hoch von Ol

10W60 ist zu thick.
Gut whem man langere zeit sehr snell fahrst. Aber when kalt oder bei normal gebrauch gibt er hohere (slijtage) weil es weiniger flussig ist.

I am switching from 10w/60 Racing to a good 5w/50 oil.
Better during startup (oil is a little bit less thick as a 10w/60 or 10w/40) and also a little less thick when the engine is hot.
The 10w/60 really is a racing oil. If you race your SZ, it is a good choice though.

There is no standard sollution.
Because we all use Multigrade (as in vielfacher) oil.

10W60 means that this oil acts like a single grade 10 oil when it is cold.
But when it is warm it acts like a singlegrade 60 oil.

What you really want to know is:
- How thick and sticky is a 10 oil when its cold
- How thick and sticky is a 60 oil when its warm

I also know that the resistance of oil and the possibilities of taking pressure before the oil film breaks differs from oil to oil.

So what you would like to have is an oil that:
-Thin enough when its cold to flow directly to all parts in the engine
- Strong enough in the cold to withstand the pressures in fa slide bearings.

Thick and strong enough when its hot to withstand the pressures in fa slide bearings an the heat
Thick enough to stay in the engine (no sweating) and build up some pressure.
With as less as resistance so it can follow with the pistons and other fast moving parts.

This is such a complex matter that only an oil expert could give correct advice.

I wished that I was not Ill when ther was a expedition to Eurol Netherlands.

An oil expert I know (works at Kendall and knows everything about oil) thinks the best oil for the SZ is a 5w/50.

10w/60 is a real racing oil, so only suitable for racing. In a 10w/60 there are a lot off additives (20% in Castrol Edge for example) and they degrade faster, so you change the oil sooner.

But I am sending an oil-sample of my old oil (Shell Helix Ultra 10w/60 Racing) to a laboratory and next year also a sample of my new oil. So I can see which oil probably is the best.
