HI Guys,

I just ordered the famous SC 18" SZ rims.

What tyres does fit best?

- Brand (Pirelli or Khumo?)
Pirelli Zero Nero
Pirelli Zero Rosso
Khumo semislicks

- Size
Front
215/40/18
225/40/18
Back
245/40/18
255/35/18

I don't want to cut something away from the bodywork.\
Thanks in advance

Rogor

Cool!

I prefer the P zero's on the standard rims (good grip in dry and wet), so I would look at those first.
But there are more people with bigger wheels here.

And another question about rims :
On the british SZ/RZ-register site was a set of white 5-spoke rims for sale. They were made special for the SZ. Does anybody know more of these wheels?

Might be the origional racing rims for the SZ Trophy Cup.

Origional Cupvelgen.

Japanese SZ drivers.

More Japanese.

Rear car has a Carbon hood.

Visit RZ 2007?:

Sight seeing.

Kevlar enigine hood.

RZ's SZ goes 250 easy.

hi roy,
255/35 in the back and 225/40 in the front
the circumference should be almost the same and the front doesn't become to low.
otherwise it is bye bye front spoilerlip.
i have the p zero rosso which were tested as good as the nero's but cheaper.

Autobandenmarkt.nl 02-10-2008

225/40/18
215/40/18
225/35/18
215/35/18 no Kuhmo semislick available

225/40/18 Pirelli Zero assymetrico E 140; nero E145; rosso E 143
215/40/18 Pirelli Zero assymetrico na; nero E166; rosso E na

245/35/18 Pirelli Zero Nero assymetrico 204; nero na; rosso E na
245/40/18 Pirelli Zero Nero assymetrico 174; nero na; rosso E na
255/35/18 Pirelli Zero rosso assymetrico 227; nero E218; rosso E na

I think they mixup the names in zero nero rosso assymetrico... Also I thought yesterday they had a bigger choice.

The british SZ-register website is down (why?), so I cannot check it for the rims.
They were white, 5 spoke design if I am correct. Maybe those on the Japanse SZ in that picture.

@Rogor : the P-Zero's are not always available. Pirelli does one or two batches each year and if they are sold out, you just have to wait. That can take months.
I have Nero's now (front) and P7000 at the rear. But the rear tyres are gone almost, so I will try to find P Zero nero's before next year.

i don't know what the et's are but my rear wheels seem to have a lesser et than the others because mine touched my wheelarches in the rz and the sz.
don't take the 215/40 in the front, it is to low !
ps rogor;mijn uitlaat niet weggooien hé Wink

My favorit Tyre:

Kumho ECSTA MX KU15
245/40 ZR18 93Y BSW
Prijslijst*: €121,30
Would this fit? Because 245/35 is not available.

Hi Harry,

The UK SZ register website is down as the Registrar has changed. Rob Jones started the register and created the website, but stepped down due to lack of time I guess. The new registrar is Paul Millbank who is very enthusiastic but as yet doesn't have a website.

Those white wheels belong to David Hobbs. They are 16" diameter and made to the same offsets etc as the standard wheels. David has now moved up to 18" wheels and so his old wheels are now for sale. I believe he had those white wheels specially made by Dymag.

Cheers

Philip
