I got these pictures from Allessandro.
He got these fabulous Sparco seats and he hasd put them in his SZ.
I think the colour is perfect and the seats look great.
I wonder how expensive they are.

I like those - the SZ seats are in many ways an integral part of the design of the whole car. But, they can be uncomfortable after a few hours are a bit high and I'm guessing they weigh quite a bit. I have wondered about replacing the seats so would be very interested to know:
a. how much do they cost?
b. do they lower the seating position?
c. How much less do they weigh?
And of course, can we see a picture of them installed! |

I also sat too high and so got rid of the subframe and bolted the seat directly to the floor.... gives an extra 2'' (50cms) of
headroom and is much more comfortable...
Incidentally the captive bolts on the chassis (for the subframe) match up perfectly with the seat frame...

You're welcome...
It has the added bonus that nobody else fits your car and so cannot drive it...

The standard price for these seats is almost 2500 euro's, so sadly not cheap.
But maybe the listprice is high and you can get these for less. But I am not into racing/seats so do not know where to get these with a big discount.
But at this price I will keep the original ones for now.
But these are very very nice! |

Where does the seat end up...distance from pedals or front of the seat in relation to the console etc?
Could do with some more headroom but trying to gauge if I'll be able to reach the pedals
