Thats a nice collection!!
Some people in the US write it as Alpha because they are ignorant....
I also have the unpainted 'pre production' models but I am not so sure they are genuine.... I think someone has
drilled out the rivets and removed all the paint etc... there are far too many out there to all be pre production models...
You also seem to be missing the German ''Die Christmas World-Rallye'' sets...

When the rivets were drilled out they must be damaged and almost gone.
I put some pictures where you can see how it must be before setteling.
As you can see, they sticked a little bit out above the plastic bottom.
Look also to the strange wheels, they are not the original ones for all the later Matchboxes, it looks more to the Hotwheels models.
By the way.... I have also the Christmas world rally set but that set contains also other models, I don't show that. That would be the same when I show the green SZ in his box. That was brought out in a blister, glued on a piece of carton with, I beliefe, about 24, or more, other kind of models on the same carton.
Only to show SZ is more nice, I think.

Fantastic!
I love that SZ pacecar, that one is Provence Moulage I presume?
Where did you buy that wooden SZ and which scale is it?
And do you have a close up of the pins?
I recognise three I think, the small red one, the small garage carnot (?) version and the yellow one from the 5 piece Zagato pin-set. (Or from the later produced 4 piece set Ed got reproduced a couple of years ago.)
This is the original set :

The pacecar is made by Alezan.
The wooden SZ was made by Chris de Koning and is 40 cm long. I bought it once on the swapmeet in Houten.
Concerning the pins you are right. The other two are new for you, I think.
The red pin has the same size as the yellow pin but has other details, I don't know where it comes from.
The other is about the same like the Carnot pin with little other details, also with a name on it ( Bertrand Balas )
Bertrand Balas was a rally driver in the 80's( rally Monte Carlo and Tour de Corse ) I don't understand the link to the SZ. Maybe he owns also a SZ. Typical France, this kind of pins. Maybe there are more.

I've just recently got one of these, box is a little creased but otherwise ok
Also have a "Go Eagles" but it is unboxed...there doesn't seem to be much on ebay at the moment
