How often do you do it and how much does it cost if you go to a shop?
Last one I had changed, cost me 470 euro's including MOT/APK and a rental car.
I do it every 3 years. |

What do you do about the tensioners?
I understand the original are no longer available. |

Last time I did not change them. I also didn't do the waterpump.
I will ask them what they recommend.
Tensioners for the 75 will still be available I think? Or are they different? |

Waterpump: no longer available, adjust a V6 12V waterpump
Hydraulic tensioner: no longer available, a mechanic one of a 156 V6 2.5 will do. _________________ SZ: #150 |

Without!
They check the tensioners and the waterpump etc and if everything seems fine, they don't recommend to change them.
They still had (parts for the) hydraulic tensioners, so a conversion to other tensioners is noet needed yet. |
