12/02/11 - Since buying the car, the steering has had some play
at the centre...I found the cause was a loose steering rack and
simply tightening two of the bolts solved the problem! A later modification
provided a longer term solution (see

to a renewed search for replacements and the subsequent fitting

Park, rained most of the day but still had a great time talking
to owners of SZs and 155s (my other passion). |

10/08/11 - The foam pieces have been
covered in leather at last (see
Tech Page) although the work is not the best. I also had a spare
Zagato steering wheel recovered but the company, Brooks Coach Trimmers
of Mansfield, made a complete and utter mess of it, you can view
the pictures here if you dare, they are truly shocking! |
